We are seeking an experienced professional who is passionate about teaching and mentoring undergraduate students, with the opportunity to contribute to research and curriculum development in a growing academic environment. Qualifications
Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
3+ years of professional experience or research in a relevant area.
Teaching experience.
Ability to teach effectively in English.
Expertise Areas
Physics: Classical mechanics, optics, thermodynamics, or applied physics.
Computer Science: Computer graphics, simulation software, computer vision, AI, machine learning, game development, or software engineering.
Technical Skills
C/C++ (preferred)
Python, C#
Graphics APIs: OpenGL, Direct3D, Vulkan
Unity, Unreal Engine
MatLab, LaTex
Git, TensorFlow, SQL
Desired Requirements
Industry experience in a relevant field.
Demonstrated ability to secure external research funding.
Proficiency in Spanish.
Duties
Deliver in‐person instruction in undergraduate courses aligned with your expertise.
Engage in independent or collaborative research in areas such as AI, graphics, computer vision, software engineering, education technology, applied mathematics/physics. Teaching loads may be reduced for those actively pursuing research.
Support and guide undergraduate students in coursework, projects, and professional development.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of course content and align it with industry trends and academic standards.
Contract Details
Contract Type: Full‐time, long‐term
Start Date: January 2026
Work Period: September to July. Vacation in August, Easter, and Christmas.
Location: On‐site classes in Bilbao campus.
