Job Overview
Prepares, negotiates, and assists in the execution and retention of site agreements, confidentiality agreements, letters of indemnification, and other contracts for Sponsors contracting Fortrea. Maintains and updates contracts tracking and status systems, supports paper and electronic file management, and ensures adherence to SOPs, including departmental SOPs and study-related duties as per relevant process documents.
Summary of Responsibilities
* Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
* Manage daily tracking, negotiation, and approval of Site Agreements and templates for clinical study teams; update the departmental Site Agreement Management System (SAMS) or other systems as required.
* Identify and escalate issues for review.
* Ensure quality and timely completion of delegated tasks.
* Manage assigned studies in compliance with internal processes and sponsor requirements.
* Update contract tracking systems promptly.
* Assist with contract administration, including obtaining approvals, maintaining tracking systems, reporting statuses, and filing executed contracts.
* Support departmental goals and initiatives positively and flexibly.
* Provide regular status updates on contracts and issues.
* Comply with corporate requirements, including timesheets, training, and expense reports.
* Draft, negotiate, review, and process contracts to protect Fortrea’s interests.
* Negotiate contractual terms professionally.
* Apply knowledge of ICH GCP principles and follow quality procedures.
* Identify potential obstacles and escalate as needed to minimize delays.
* Coordinate with study teams regarding contract details and timelines.
* Support process improvements and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications (Minimum Required)
* Bachelor’s degree (LLB, JD, BA, BS); law degree preferred (UK/EU).
* Relevant experience may substitute educational requirements.
Experience (Minimum Required)
* 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
* 100% Office environment.
