The Role
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through both self-generated leads and strategic collaborations with our technology and sales partners, including SAP, Mirakl, and others. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will play a key role in expanding our presence in the DACH region.
Your primary focus will be on building new client relationships from scratch (hunter role) and identifying opportunities within existing accounts. Prospective clients may come from supplied leads, new contacts, or your professional network.
You will engage key stakeholders and deliver high-value eCommerce (B2B & B2C) and marketplace solutions. The sales process can be complex and involve long cycles. You will manage the entire sales cycle—from lead generation and outreach to presentations (with presales support), defining solutions, and negotiating contracts.

About You
Native German speaker with fluency in English.
Proven experience in eCommerce Sales and Business Development with a strong track record of revenue growth.
Strong commercial acumen and a passion for enhancing customer experience.
Success in managing the full sales cycle—from engagement to closing—collaborating with consultants at each stage.
Experience handling cold and warm opportunities, delivering presentations, and responding to RFPs in partnership with presales teams. You act as the voice of the prospect, aligning internal discussions with client needs.
Skilled in selling business solutions, simplifying complex concepts to communicate value effectively.
Excellent communication skills—listening, written, verbal, and presentation—capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels, including C-level.
Experience working with marketing teams to develop and execute campaigns.
Highly numerate, capable of internal reporting and effective client negotiations.
