We're looking for a Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic SOC team and become a vital contributor to the world of cybersecurity. In this role, you'll dive into complex technical research and perform cutting-edge intelligence analysis across multiple aspects of cyber defense. Your main tasks and accountabilities will be:
1. Conduct comprehensive technical research on cyberattacks, vectors, and groups involved.
2. Investigate new vulnerabilities, exploits, and emerging cyber threat trends.
3. Analyze the behaviors, tactics, and procedures of cybercriminals.
4. Develop predictions on future cybercriminal activities and potential threats.
5. Create detailed threat intelligence reports to document findings.
6. Communicate intelligence insights to relevant stakeholders such as government and corporate officials.
7. Share threat information with security teams to enhance organizational preparedness.
What do we expect from you?
1. At least 4 years of previous work experience in the cybersecurity field.
2. Experience conducting research in the areas of WEBINT, OSINT, social media platforms, and virtual HUMINT.
3. Experience with data analytics tools.
4. Strong analytical skills.
5. Experience with Python (an advantage).
6. Ability to work under pressure and overcome problems in order to reach your goal.
7. Ability to be responsive and deal with emergencies and urgent incidents.
8. Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams.
9. Continuous research for cyber threats and trends in open, deep, and dark web.
10. Threat actor monitoring and understanding their TTPs and motives.
11. Monitor for trending vulnerabilities and malware, to enhance cyber defense.
12. Share weekly and ad-hoc reports and walkthroughs with the client security team.
13. Fluent in English and Spanish.
