Program Manager, Launch Planning, Amazon Logistics
As Launch Planning Program Manager, you will drive the end-to-end delivery station (DS) launch planning process. Your role is crucial in expanding our delivery network through strategic planning, project execution, and stakeholder alignment.
Key Job Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
Lead DS site selection, design, and budget procurement
Manage multiple launch projects concurrently
Conduct ROI analysis for strategic investment decisions
Optimize DS performance throughout the entire lifecycle
Process Optimization and Standardization
Develop and implement standardized processesSet new efficiency benchmarks for the launch planning process
Collaborate with global teams to share insights
Stakeholder Management and Communication
Serve as primary POC on projects, facilitating effective communication among all stakeholders
Manage project timelines and provide regular updates to leadership
Navigate regulatory requirements and foster local partnerships
About the Team
Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is a division responsible for managing Amazon's last-mile delivery and providing high-quality, attractive delivery services to customers. While striving to optimize delivery costs and improve delivery experience, we are focusing on nationwide expansion of Delivery Stations (DS), our final delivery facility, to further expand our logistics network.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of program or project management experience
Bachelor's degree
Business Level English (Japanese is a plus)
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to navigate and solve complex problems in ambiguous environments
Relevant degree/certification (Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, PMP)
Logistics industry experience
Strategic planning expertise
Track record of successfully managing cross-departmental initiatives
Experience communicating effectively with senior executives
