Overview
Senior Analyst will be reporting to the Head of Portfolio Management. Senior Analyst will be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial models for projects mainly in the pipeline and sporadically of external opportunities. Senior Analyst will provide expected profitability figures of the single assets and will be instrumental in:
The estimation of project profitability for decision‐making purposes
Evaluation of the pipeline for strategic planning and reporting
Recommendations on Project definition: technical solution offtake selection and/or preferred financing structure.
Key Challenges
Adapt and maintain financial models to the applicable taxation and regulations of the appropriate geography or to new business models
Prepare financial models with proposed technical configurations from the appropriate teams to support on the optimal project definition
Prepare financial models with different lending and/of offtake agreement proposals
Report the expected profitability at the asset level
Prepare sensitivity analysis for investment proposals
Prepare and maintain input sheets and track supporting documentation
Support participation in Bid / Auctions with focus on price recommendation
Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance or similar
3-5 years of experience in Financial Modelling or Renewable Energy Industry
Discounted Cash Flow Modelling
Excel Expert
VBA (or other programming language)
Strong Analytical skills
Experience in Debtor PPA structuring is a plus
Proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory both written and verbal. Another language (German, French or Italian) is a plus.
