Do you have a proven track record in launching crop protection products and building strong networks in the agri‑sector? Are you fluent in Spanish or Italian and eager to bring innovative solutions to market? At Globachem, we’re looking for a Business Developer Innovations with deep roots in the crop protection industry to help us grow our footprint in Southern Europe.
Key Responsibilities
* Commercialise Globachem’s own developed innovative crop protection products in South‑European countries.
* Provide market insights, map competition and competing products.
* Build a strong technical basis and translate technical knowledge into compelling use recommendations to support rapid market adoption.
* Lead pre‑launch initiatives and support distributors to ensure successful product introductions through demo trials, technical training and presentations.
* Maintain a solid network of distributors, CROs, advisors and industry influencers in at least Spain and Italy, and build such a network in other South‑Europe countries.
* Coordinate annual trial plans to meet regulatory, crop safety, compatibility and sales requirements.
* Represent Globachem at local congresses and symposiums.
* With the responsible sales manager, select distribution partners and set pricing.
* Collaborate with Sales & Marketing and other departments such as R&D, Product Development, Regulatory and Supply Chain.
* Report to the Business Development Manager at our Headquarters in Belgium.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Degree in Agronomy, Bio‑engineering or related field.
* Minimum 7 years of commercial experience in crop protection and product launch experience.
* Fluency in Spanish or Italian (native level) and English.
* Other languages are a plus.
* Based in South of Europe (Spain or Italy) and flexible to travel frequently to other South‑Europe countries or headquarters in Belgium.
* Strong communication and excellent negotiation skills.
* Strategic and commercial project management approach.
* Hands‑on self‑starter driven by innovation.
* Team player with a growth mindset.
