Senior Full Stack Engineer - AI-Assisted Development
At Shakers, we're partnering with a general renewable energy producer to bring in a hands-on full-stack engineer for their software team. Fully remote, long-term, and built around an AI-first engineering culture where agentic coding is part of the daily workflow.
You'll design, ship, and maintain the bespoke applications the company runs internally, owning them end-to-end across the backend and frontend. You'll work closely with a range of stakeholders to turn product needs into working software, keeping documentation up to date as you go. What sets this project apart is how the team actually works: Develop across the stack: backend services plus modern TypeScript frontends.
Containerize and orchestrate workloads with Docker (multi-stage builds, Compose or Kubernetes).
5+ years building software as a full-stack or backend engineer.
~ Backend proficiency in one of: Python, Go, PHP or Node.js.
~ Frontend in TypeScript with React or Vue.
~ Solid Docker practice: containerization, multi-stage builds, orchestration via Compose or Kubernetes.
~ Comfortable with UI component libraries and CSS frameworks (Tailwind, DaisyUI or similar).
~ Real, hands-on command of AI-assisted engineering with Claude Code: prompting with up-to-date markdown context, challenging architectural decisions before implementation, running review and QA before shipping, and saving and restoring context and reusable skills across tasks.
~ English at C1 or above.
Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG).
