We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Wintel Engineer with expertise in VMware, Wintel, Azure Iaa S, Active Directory, and automation (Ansible, Power Shell, Python, Bash). Architect, deploy, and manage Wintel-based infrastructure across on-premises and Azure cloud environments.Design, configure, and maintain VMware v Sphere, ESXi, v Center, and virtualized workloads.Manage Azure Iaa S, including VM provisioning, networking, backup, and monitoring.Administer and optimize Active Directory (AD), Group Policies, Entra ID, and authentication mechanisms.Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and system administration using Ansible, Power Shell, Python, and Bash scripting.Troubleshoot complex Windows Server, VMware, and cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance.Implement server hardening, patching, and security policies to maintain compliance.Perform storage provisioning and integration with Pure Storage (basic knowledge required).Collaborate with networking, security, and Dev Ops teams for seamless infrastructure integration.Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting best practices in infrastructure management. Qualifications & Experience:
18+ years of experience in Wintel engineering, VMware, and cloud infrastructure.Extensive experience in Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, and GPO management.Strong expertise in VMware (v Sphere, ESXi, v Center) and virtualization technologies.Hands-on experience with Azure Iaa S, cloud automation, and migration strategies.Proficiency in Ansible, Power Shell, Python, and Bash scripting for automation and configuration management.Basic understanding of Pure Storage and storage provisioning.Strong knowledge of security best practices, system hardening, and compliance standards.Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, with experience in stakeholder management.Intermediate+ English level. Preferred Skills:
Experience working in hybrid cloud environments, integrating on-premises and Azure solutions.Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) principles.Understanding of enterprise networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, Load Balancers).Knowledge of the ITIL framework for incident, problem, and change management.Preferred certifications: VMware VCP, Microsoft Azure Administrator/Architect, or equivalent.
