As Operations Manager Oceanfreight (m/f/d) you hold the strings:
1. Negotiating and expanding local carrier contracts (Import & Export) in alignment with the regional PMO
2. Managing payment terms, demurrage, detention, and drop-off/pick-up agreements
3. Hosting regular meetings with strategic carrier partners
4. Creating a market overview (buying & selling) for the MED region
5. Driving joint customer development for V & A customers together with local sales and operations teams
6. Monitoring operational quality and KPIs across branches in your area of responsibility
7. Maintaining rates in Freightify for local carrier agreements

8. Completed commercial or logistics-related education
9. At least 3 years of experience in sales or business development within air & sea logistics
10. Strong customer orientation and excellent communication skills
11. Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken
12. Organizational strength and confidence in negotiations
13. Familiarity with MS Office, CRM tools, and CargoWise
14. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Mediterranean locations
