Join us!What Does The Supply Chain Department Do At WorldwideClinical Supply Specialist will plan, implement, monitor and improve company supply strategy including collaboration with Project Management, Vendor Management, DLS Leadership, Finance and vendors.What You Will DoPlan, implement and monitor study supply strategy overall supply chain strategy in order to maximize efficiency and productivityWork with procurement managers and buyers to source the right productsOptimize supply levels to ensure continuity while minimizing carrying costs Control manufacturing and delivery processesCollaborate with Project Management, Vendor Management, and DLS Leadership to effectively Plan and implement study logistical strategy, ensuring targets are metKeep an accurate record of the process and analyzing performanceDevelop and maintain detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company, at sites, and in the factoryManage and minimize the risks (for example operational or reputational) that could affect or interrupt the supply chainMonitor the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements;
identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.Work with finance, sales and vendor management to determine best vendors and distributorsDevelop and maintain good relationships with vendors and distributors. Use computer software to track goods from origin to deliveryDevelops procedures to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety;
implements subsequent changes to processes.Collaborate with DLS Leadership to define and implement key supply chain KPIs at study and functional levelsIdentify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely mannerTrain and evaluate othersImprove the overall supply chain performance and look for any possible innovations to the processPerforms other related duties as assigned.What You Will Bring To The RoleLogical and systematic approach to workGood time management, with the ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy and keep to deadlinesAbility to solve problems and make decisions, as well as to think strategically and laterallyExcellent relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teamsNegotiation and influencing skillsBusiness management and analytical skills IT literacy, skills in Excel and the ability to handle electronic dataUnderstanding of risk management in the context of the supply chainYour backgroundBachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a similar relevant fieldContract Research Organization (CRO) required (1 year minimum)Previous working experience in the supply chain area for 1-2 yearsHands-on experience with supply chain functionality in an IRT / RTSM system is a plusSense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s successCritical thinker, detail-oriented and problem-solving skillsGood time-management skills and great communication skillsWe love knowing that someone is going to have a better life because of the work we do.To view our other roles, check out our careers page at Discover a world of difference at Worldwide!
