Santander Asset Management is looking for a Global Sales Support Analyst Institutional Business based out of Madrid.
Responsibilities
Pre‑sales and post‑sales support
Coordinate pipeline management, ensure RFP standardization, update databases and coordinate the event calendar.
Ensure complete and up‑to‑date sales materials.
Gain and share market insights through cooperation with internal and external market intelligence specialists.
Business Intelligence
Enable information exchange between the Global Sales Support team and the countries: participating in regular country catch‑ups on market and pipeline developments, following up on actions discussed.
Publish Business intelligence on the global team level: preparing periodical presentations and reports on sales versus budget and other key parameters.
Other
Assist in various strategic and operational projects focused on improving institutional client services and net sales results.
Liaise with internal stakeholders such as Data Management, Compliance and Risk, as well as with Product and Investments.
Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Qualifications
Professional experience: 2 years working experience, ideally within asset management or financial services.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Economics or a related field. CFA, CAIA or progress toward them.
Languages: English and Spanish.
Hard skills:
Basic understanding of financial markets and investment products and interest in developing this further.
Good Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to work with data and prepare clear presentations.
Familiarity with financial data tools (Morningstar, Bloomberg) and CRM.
General understanding of investment products and fund documentation (factsheets, UCITS).
Soft skills:
Hands‑on, problem‑solving mentality.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.
Team worker, able to navigate in large organizations.
