Eurodrone Airworthiness & Certification Engineer position within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid). The engineer will serve as the Designated Airworthiness Engineer for the Eurodrone MALE RPAS program and work closely with design, compliance, and international airworthiness authorities.
Responsibilities
- Establish certification basis and compliance frameworks specific to Eurodrone.
- Prepare and manage certification plans and supporting documentation.
- Present and negotiate certification plans with airworthiness authorities.
- Participate in design revisions to verify compliance with military airworthiness requirements.
- Provide technical support to DOA management for updating Eurodrone procedures.
- Ensure all certification documents comply with export control regulations.
Required Knowledge & Experience
- Education: Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or related discipline.
- Professional Experience: Aeronautical systems, airworthiness frameworks or operational manuals.
- Propulsion Expertise: Demonstrated experience in propulsion systems.
- General Aircraft Systems: Knowledge of aircraft systems and export control regulations.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation, adaptability to international environments, strong willingness to learn.
- Languages: Advanced English (mandatory).
- Security Clearance: Eligibility for national security clearance by recognized authorities.
