Position: Business Controller Manufacturing
The Business Controller Manufacturing is part of the global business controlling team supporting the Supply Chain and Factory organization in Santpedor. The Business Controller Manufacturing is a key member of the team and responsible for ensuring that the financial health of the organization is reported accurately in the financial reports. As Business Controller Manufacturing, you will work directly with the responsible managers to help define the organization's financial goals and objectives, continuously striving for improvements and based on analysis recommending actions to improve the accuracy of financial reporting.
Responsibilities
* Financial Analysis:
o Undertake various responsibilities within factory controlling, ensuring effective financial management across functions.
o Gather, analyze, and report financial data for Factory and Business Support activities to facilitate well-informed decisions.
o Identify opportunities for process enhancements and proactively implement changes while maintaining the organization's capability structure.
o Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to drive financial success and align strategies with goals.
* Analytical Thinking and Insights:
o Demonstrate advanced analytical thinking to address complex financial and operational issues effectively.
o Proactively identify risks and opportunities, providing insights for informed decision-making.
o Develop and employ analytical methods and tools to enhance decision-making.
* Communication and Collaboration:
o Clearly and concisely communicate complex financial concepts to diverse stakeholders.
o Collaborate with operational teams, offering financial insights that contribute to strategic direction.
o Engage with the Management Team by presenting analytical results, highlighting key insights, proposing solutions, and ensuring understanding and acceptance of findings.
* Reporting and Compliance:
o Generate reports and presentations for senior management in response to requests and initiate relevant financial analyses.
o Ensure strict compliance with the Company's financial policies and procedures.
* Continuous Improvement and Projects:
o Participate in continuous improvement efforts and engage in ad hoc projects initiated by Vanderlande.
o Initiate, conduct, and document monthly financial meetings with relevant team members to facilitate accurate financial forecasting.
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Proven experience in finance roles with a track record of effective financial management.
* Proficiency in relevant financial software and tools.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Preferably you speak, write and understand Spanish and very good English.
* Team player with good communication skills, who can multi-task and is an efficient planner.
