Outrigo is a multidisciplinary engineering company delivering advanced solutions from concept to production across automotive, motorsport, aerospace and defence. We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our advanced fabrication and additive manufacturing operations in Santa Oliva.
The idóneo candidate is a hands-on, detail-oriented technician with a strong foundation in metal fabrication, machining and finishing. You will operate a range of digital and conventional equipment, including additive manufacturing systems, CNC machines and welding/fabrication tools to produce precision components for high-performance programmes.

Responsibilities / What you will do
- Prepare, operate and maintain manufacturing equipment including additive systems, CNC machines and manual tools.
- Manage the full component lifecycle: setup, fabrication, post-processing, inspection and documentation.
- Handle and prepare raw materials, ensuring traceability, cleanliness and safety compliance.
- Perform machining, cutting, grinding, welding and finishing operations to meet dimensional and surface quality targets.
- Execute part measurement and inspection, using precision tools (callipers, micrometers, gauges) and digital measurement systems.
- Support assembly, fitting and alignment tasks for prototypes and low-volume production components.
- Identify process deviations or quality issues and propose corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, environmental and cleanliness standards in all workshop activities.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to optimise manufacturability, process reliability and quality output.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, developing best practices and documenting standard procedures.
Experience / Who you are
- Technical degree or vocational qualification in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Automotive Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Proven experience in metal fabrication, CNC machining, or precision workshop operations.
- Practical understanding of manufacturing drawings, tolerances and surface finish specifications.
- Proficiency in welding, fitting or assembly techniques.
- Familiarity with manufacturing software for part preparation, measurement or job documentation (CAD/CAM knowledge is a plus).
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Capable of reading and interpreting technical documentation in English.
- Proficiency with IT tools (MS Office / Google Workspace) and a structured, documentation-oriented mindset.
