El Prat de Llobregat, Barcelona, Spain – This permanent, full‑time position reports to Yoav Dienes and focuses on managing the sales of Polymer Specialties products across Europe and Africa.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for the sales of Polymer Specialties products in Europe and Africa.
* Drive consolidation and growth of the business in the polymer producing and fine chemicals markets while hunting for new business opportunities.
* Strengthen the market position in the EMEA region together with the sales and marketing team.
* Maximize total value creation for the business, maintain and grow the business within the guidelines provided by commercial management.
* Develop and nurture relationships at multiple levels and disciplines with existing and new customers to optimize value and capture relevant market information.
* Frequently visit customers, distributors and relevant industry events.
* Develop strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders and build an effective network.
* Hunt for new business opportunities and manage them in CRM.
* Execute the pricing plan and apply the tiered service level policy.
* Monitor the order‑to‑cash process together with customer service and provide accurate monthly sales forecasts to support production planning.
* Execute the sales channel strategy.
* Travel within Europe and Africa for approximately 50% of the time.
Qualifications
* At least 2 to 3 years of demonstrated working experience in a commercial B2B environment.
* Excellent relationship builder and hunter at different levels within customer organisations.
* Good balance between relationship management and a hunting mentality.
* Ambition to work in a technical sales environment.
* Preferably knowledge of the polymer/chemical industry.
* At least a bachelor’s degree in business, chemistry or engineering.
* Fluency in English, Spanish and Italian.
* Ownership mindset, self‑starter, attention to detail.
* Ability to work accurately in a complex work environment, well‑organized and strong time‑management skills.
* Strong negotiating skills and a commercial attitude.
* Energetic and enthusiastic team player.
