Space Project Manager

We´re expanding our team at Alén Space, and are looking for a Space Project Manager; with passion in what you do, talented and experienced; to serve as the coordinator of space projects with clients, acting as the main point of contact for the client and stakeholders. They will also be responsible for coordinating the activities of the technical team involved in the project, as well as tracking costs, deliverables, and deadlines.
What you will be doing?
1. Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
2. Plan projects and monitor their progress.
3. Identify risks and other potential obstacles in project development.
4. Manage communication with clients and stakeholders, track action items, address issues, and negotiate scope changes.
5. Coordinate meetings and milestone reviews with the client.
6. Coordinate the technical team from various areas to achieve project objectives.
7. Track project costs and time according to the project plan and internal processes.
8. Communicate project metrics, risks, and deviations to the operations team.
What do we need in our team
9. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or another technical field.
10. At least 3 years of experience in managing technical projects.
11. Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to international clients and stakeholders.
12. Proactive approach to problem-solving.
13. Good organizational skills.
14. Excellent communication skills in English (C1 equivalent).
Valuable knowledge:
15. Knowledge of PMI and agile methodologies.
16. Experience with aerospace projects applying ECSS management standards.
17. Familiarity with ISO9001 and similar quality standards.
18. Experience in team management.
19. Experience working with technical requirements.

20. Work remotely a percentage of the time to be defined with the manager
21. Flexible start/finish times; reduced intensive working hours on Fridays and in summer Monday to Friday.
