In this role you will support cross-border M&A and related equity transactions for infrastructure and industrials clients within Santander CIB. You will work closely with senior bankers, contributing to live deals and client materials, while developing financial models and valuation analyses. You’ll gain exposure to a pan-EMEA deal flow and collaborate with product partners to deliver integrated advice. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape strategic outcomes in a fast-paced investment banking environment.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Build and review complex financial models (operating models, DCFs, accretion/dilution)
• Perform valuation work using DCF, comps, and precedent transactions
• Prepare client materials (pitch books, management presentations, information memoranda)
• Support live M&A and IPO processes, including due diligence coordination and stakeholder interaction
• Conduct sector, company, investor, and transaction analysis across EMEA
• Monitor market developments, valuation trends, and regulatory themes across sub-sectors
• Support senior bankers on client dialogue and origination ideas
Responsabilidades
• 2-4 years in investment banking, M&A, ECM/IPO advisory or similar
• Proven execution experience on live transactions and multi-workstream management
• Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university
• Fluency in English and Spanish; additional European languages preferred
• xpzdshu Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills; strong accounting and corporate finance fundamentals
• Experience with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, Refinitiv, Mergermarket, Infralogic or similar tools (preferred)
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
