For our Barcelona office, we are searching for a Business Developer to join the Worldwide and Development department to help grow our indirect global network. The Business Developer will report to the Region Director.
1. Main tasks and responsibilities:
2. Manage lead generation activities, improve existing sources (LinkedIn, Google Ads, and other marketing online activities), and proactively find new sources.
3. Present the MBE business opportunity to potential Master Franchisees and support negotiations to finalize franchising contracts.
4. Negotiate and develop agreements with suppliers.
5. Support the start-up operations of new Master Franchisees.
6. Support the existing Master franchisee community to develop and support their network.
7. Manage and maintain MBE guidelines and strategies to uphold standards of products and services.
8. Organize and coordinate activities related to company events, international meetings, and conventions.
9. Assist with translation and proofreading of materials in a Nordic language and occasionally serve as an interpreter during meetings.
Skills and experiences:
1. Bachelor/Master in Business Administration or similar, with strong academic performance.
2. At least two years of related work experience in sales and lead development.
3. International exposure (e.g., exchange or language programs) and internship experience in sales.
4. Excellent written and spoken English and native Nordic language; additional languages (Spanish/Italian) are favorable.
5. Strong communication skills, ambitious, and capable of building relationships.
6. Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, and business productivity software.
7. Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and problem-solving.
8. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
9. People-oriented attitude and team spirit.
10. Curious, eager to learn, and explore new opportunities.
