We are hiring a Landscape and Snow Division Manager. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong operational experience to oversee crews all year round.Responsibilities:
* Oversee Landscape Maintenance and Snow Division
* Able to oversee multiple landscaping crews at various locations
* Service company’s clientele with a customer first always attitude
* Flexibility required to accommodate daily and seasonal business needs
* Ability to motivate employees and provide a positive work environment
* Orientation and training of new personnel when required
* Experience withSnow Removal Operationsin a commercial setting
* Ability to handle the operation, scheduling and dispatching of employees and company equipment during all four seasons
* Ability to identify training opportunities and areas of improvement among the team
* Ensure employees adhere to company policies and procedures
* Respond to customer enquiries, concerns and/or complaints making sure they receive exceptional service and resolution in a timely fashion
* Actively pursuing the acquisition of new clients
* Develop strong customer relationships with new and existing clients through regular communication
* Create new contracts and track existing customer contract renewals to ensure retention
* Ability to provide landscape maintenance and snow removal estimates
* Attend regular meetings with property managers and board members as required
* Always working in an ethical manner
* Other duties as required
Requirements:
* Minimum5 yearsof experience as a Supervisor in a Commercial Landscape Maintenance/Snow Removal position
* Knowledge and experience with commercial snow removal operations and lawn maintenance
* Horticulture education and experience
* Ensure that vehicles and equipment are maintained and serviced
* Ability to be diplomatic and skilled with negotiations to handle various situations
* Proven ability to professionally and confidently manage staff
* Willingness and ability to travel between multiple sites as needed
* G License and clean drivers abstract required
* Exceptional communication skills – verbal and written
* Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel
* Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy required
* Strong work ethic – reliable and punctual
* Able to assume responsibility and have a flexible team-player attitude
* Previous experience operating maintenance equipment
