From Hays Technology, we are looking for a NIS2 Compliance & Regulatory Alignment Specialist to join one of our key clients, a leading organization operating at European level.

This role supports compliance with the EU NIS2 Directive and its national transpositions, ensuring regulatory alignment across EU Member States.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and analyze NIS2 national transpositions across EU Member States, identifying country-specific requirements and regulatory impacts.
* Conduct gap assessments between NIS2 obligations and existing security, operational, and compliance controls.
* Support the definition and harmonization of common controls to ensure consistent NIS2 compliance across jurisdictions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Security, Legal, Risk, Technology, and Regulatory Affairs.
* Build and maintain a centralized NIS2 documentation and evidence repository.
* Track compliance actions, support readiness assessments, and report progress to senior stakeholders.
* Prepare clear updates, dashboards, and communications for leadership and key stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
* Strong knowledge of the NIS2 Directive, EU regulatory landscape, and cybersecurity governance.
* Experience in compliance, regulatory analysis, risk management, or cybersecurity.
* Ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable business controls.
* Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
* Experience in telecoms, critical infrastructure, cloud, or digital services.
* Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, DORA, GDPR, or SOC 2.
* Exposure to large-scale, multi-country compliance programs.
