Business Development Manager (Cross Industries) at Avanade. Avanade is actively recruiting and interviewing for the role as we grow. The role focuses on developing and winning new business in a complex consulting environment with sophisticated technology solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem.
Responsibilities
* Be focused on one or more areas of expertise (Financial Services & Insurance, Resources, Products, Telco & Media, Public Sector) within Avanade’s sector.
* Identify high potential transformation deals, lead and run many of the entire sales cycles.
* Drive new and incremental revenue by prospecting, acquiring, and developing new and fast-growing business with direct clients in your area of expertise.
* Work closely with partners to drive new business.
* Build a pipeline for growth and closing business, including statements of work and contracts.
* Interact with Avanade’s new and current clients, gain referrals, and form strong trust relationships to open doors and close deals.
* Maintain knowledge of current market conditions and competitive offerings.
Qualifications / About You
* Experience selling across multiple solution areas (Apps & Infra, Modern Workplace, Biz Apps and Data & AI), preferably enterprise scale consulting engagements with possible global delivery within the Resources Industry.
* Experience with Microsoft and other partners to grow their book of business.
* Experience identifying and applying fast, effective solutions to remove roadblocks.
* Success as a business development hunter with strong closure capabilities.
* Ability to act as a trusted advisor addressing client business needs.
* Experience driving sales in a solutions-selling environment at the C-suite level.
* You are a team leader, self-starter, and skilled influencer with superb interpersonal skills and the ability to establish strong relationships.
