PbThe Opportunity /b /ppWe are looking for a bPower Validation Certification Engineer /b to join our technology team, supporting the validation, commissioning, and certification of advanced power conversion systems for renewable energy and energy storage applications. /ppIn this role, you will work at the intersection of hardware, embedded software, and grid integration to ensure our products meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and compliance. /ppThis position offers strong laboratory exposure, involvement in international certification, and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge PV and battery-integrated solutions deployed worldwide. /ppbr/ppbHow You’ll Make an Impact /b /pulliDefine and execute validation strategies, test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria for prototypes and series products. /liliPerform commissioning and validation of power converters and control systems in laboratory, factory, and field environments. /liliAnalyse logs, signals, and performance data, generating structured technical reports to support engineering, quality, and certification teams. /liliManage full test traceability, from requirement specification through final validation reporting. /liliLead or support certification activities (UL, IEC, grid codes) and component approval processes. /liliDevelop and automate laboratory test benches, including HIL systems and advanced measurement instrumentation. /li /ulpbr/ppbYour Background /b /pulliBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (minimum requirement). /liliProfessional experience in the validation of electronic products and/or embedded systems. /liliStrong knowledge of power electronics converters, electrical system design, and control strategies. /liliHands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscopes, network analysers, multimeters, temperature recorders, etc.). /liliExperience with certification standards such as UL1741, IEC62477, IEC62109, IEC60076 and grid compliance requirements is highly valued. /liliHigh proficiency in Spanish and English; strong safety mindset and motivation to work with new technologies. /li /ulpbr/ppbAbout Us /b /ppHitachi Energy is a global technology leader advancing a sustainable energy future for all.
