Dubbing translator - english to spanish (spain)

We are looking for an experienced English-to-Spanish (Spain) Dubbing Translator for remote freelance work.

This role is intended for translators with proven experience in dubbing/localization for the entertainment industry .

Candidates should have worked on film, TV, streaming, or dubbed content for major platforms, studios, or localization vendors such as Netflix, Disney, Amazon, Warner Bros. , or similar.

You will translate and adapt English scripts into Spanish, making sure the dialogue is accurate, natural, and suitable for dubbing, including tone, flow, and lip-sync requirements where needed.

Responsibilities:

• Translate and adapt scripts from English to Spanish (Spain) for dubbing
• Preserve the original meaning, tone, and character voice
• Ensure dialogue feels natural in Spanish (Spain) and works for dubbing performance
• Review and correct translation, grammar, punctuation, and phrasing issues
• Collaborate with the team to solve script and adaptation issues

Requirements:

• Proven dubbing translation experience in the entertainment industry
• Previous work on xbhjioe film, television, or streaming content
• Native-level Spanish (Spain)
• Native or near-native English
• Strong understanding of dubbing workflows, lip-sync, and adaptation
• Excellent writing and proofreading skills
• Ability to deliver accurate work under deadline
