Sateliot is the perfect complement for large telecommunications companies by providing them with the necessary infrastructure where terrestrial technologies do not arrive. /p pbu YOUR MISSION /u /b /p p We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated 5G DSP System Engineer to join our Advanced Communications technology team. This role involves the development and implementation of physical layer algorithms for cutting-edge 5G radio systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, modelling, and verifying signal processing algorithms with a strong focus on high-performance and real-time requirements. /p pbu YOUR MAIN FUNCTIONS /u /b /p ulli Design and develop signal processing algorithms for 5G wireless systems with focus on advanced physical layer functions. /lili Implement and simulate algorithmic prototypes using MATLAB, ensuring functionality and performance in simulated environments. /lili Translate algorithmic models into structured, modular C/C++ code, targeting efficient hardware implementation. /lili Collaborate closely with the FPGA design team to ensure seamless integration of the algorithms into FPGA-based platforms via High-Level Synthesis (HLS). /lili Perform end-to-end system simulations and contribute to the development of reference processing chains for 5G use cases. /lili Validate and optimize algorithmic performance across a range of channel models and test vectors, ensuring alignment with 3GPP specifications. /li /ul pbu REQUIREMENTS /u /b /p ulli Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field. /lili Proven experience in DSP algorithm design for wireless communication systems, ideally within the 5G NR framework. /lili Strong understanding of digital communications theory, including modulation, channel estimation, equalization, and MIMO processing. /lili Hands-on experience with MATLAB for algorithm development and simulation. /lili Proficiency in structured C/C++ coding, with focus on performance, modularity, and hardware-compatibility. /lili Solid foundation in the 5G PHY and Low-PHY layers, with familiarity in signal chain requirements and standard compliance. /lili Experience with version control, code documentation, and unit testing frameworks. /li /ul pbu NICE TO HAVE /u /b /p ulli Familiarity with High-Level Synthesis (HLS) workflows and constraints for FPGA-based systems. /lili Prior exposure to radio transceiver architectures and baseband signal processing pipelines. /lili Experience working in cross-functional teams involving hardware and systems engineers. /lili Good understanding of system-level trade-offs including latency, throughput, and power constraints. /lili Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking. /lili Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment. /lili Passion for continuous learning and staying current with emerging wireless technologies. /li /ul pbu WHAT YOU’LL FIND WHEN WORKING AT SATELIOT: /u /b /p p You will be part of one the fastest-growing start-ups in Spain with global reach along getting into the challenging world of New Space Telecommunication. /pp Our culture is based on embracing openness by welcoming multicultural talent, being respectful with everybody and being open to exchange ideas.
