Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Cloud SRE is responsible for supporting project implementation as well as daily customer infrastructure incident resolution, communication and platform management.
**Working at NTT**
**As a Managed Service Engineer, the key responsibilities include**:
- Daily management tasks such as client requests, maintenance issues and platform updates
- Technical support in resolving incidents
- Ensure that the production infrastructure environment and core technologies are operating optimally at all times and are properly monitored
- Contribute in projects, continuous improvement and proactive maintenance tasks.
- All assigned projects tasks, continuous improvement and proactive maintenance tasks are completed as required and progress reported, including risks and issues, to the relevant Project Manager and team manager as appropriate.
- Learn to design & operate systems architectures for business-critical systems platforms on AWS, Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.
- Learn how to do basic automations to improve customers platforms
- Work with bleeding-edge Cloud technologies, mastering container technology (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code.

**Technical Skills**:
- Some experience or good knowledge in sysadmin of Linux and/or Windows. Knowledge of the internals of these operating systems is a plus.
- Knowledge in programming. Python, Go, Perl, Shell Script and/or PowerShell are a plus.
- Basic knowledge of any Public Cloud provider services & components (Azure, AWS or GCP). Architecture is a plus.
- Technical experience in Public Cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP). Cloud-related certification a plus
- Basic knowledge in IaC for Public Cloud (Azure, AWS or GPC). Terraform knowledge desired.
- Some knowledge or experience with systems automation tools and systems & services monitoring tools.
- Basic knowledge of Information Security & IT Service Management is also a plus.
**Previous Work Experience**:
- Degree or adequate practical background (1 year)
- Experience in an Internet Service Provider
**Language Skills**:
- Written and spoken English (fluent / native)
