Product Compliance Associate (Remote, Japanese), Global Solutions and Risk Compliance (GSRC)

With a diverse global team spanning across India, China, Poland, Romania, Netherlands, Jordan, Philippines and Costa Rica, GSRC partners with its stakeholders to classify products and ensure regulatory and legal compliance for product listings. Key job responsibilities
* As a Senior Compliance Associate, you will review product information against regulatory documentation to ensure compliance for Amazon listings.
* Using Amazon tools, you will classify products and address deviations from SOPs in collaboration with your manager and experts.
* You will prioritize tasks using reports to meet quality, productivity, and service targets.
* You may identify improvement opportunities, like automating reports with Excel, and contribute to SOP refinement.
* You will share expertise in knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor peers.
Required Skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data manipulation, pivot tables, etc.
* Basic SQL knowledge for data queries
* Experience with CRM tools
* Strong attention to detail and data analysis skills
* Problem-solving abilities with logical and creative approaches
* Commitment to research and data interpretation
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree holder
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related applications
* Advanced English proficiency (B2 or equivalent) in both verbal and written communication
* Advanced Japanese proficiency (N2 or equivalent) in both verbal and written communication
Preferred Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of consumer product compliance processes and regulations
* Proven experience in regulatory compliance management, including working with government agencies
* 2+ years experience in Business Process Outsourcing across domains such as accounting, regulatory compliance, payment processing, IT services, human resources, or quality assurance
* Advanced proficiency in Excel, including VBA
* Expertise in database querying (SQL)
* Experience as a quality auditor in retail chain management, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies, or corporate environments
* Background in data analysis within quantitative fields, including the development of data and decision support systems
