How your day will look like
Backend Architecture & Development: Design and develop scalable, performant and secure backend services for our Microsoft Azure based, serverless SaaS application.
Cloud & Serverless Excellence: Use the full potential of the Azure platform (Functions, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Storage, etc.) to ensure a modern, highly available architecture.
API Design & Integration: Design, develop and optimize REST and GraphQL APIs for seamless front-end and third-party integrations.
DevOps & Automation: Build CI/CD pipelines, optimize existing automations and ensure a stable deployment process.
Quality & Testing: Ensure high software quality through automated tests, monitoring and code reviews.
Passion for AI: See AI as an opportunity to develop better solutions for customers and increase efficiency.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with Frontend Engineers, Product Owners and Architects, contribute ideas, and mentor younger developers.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Follow new technologies, assess relevance for architecture, and suggest improvements.
Technical expertise: Degree in computer science or equivalent experience with a focus on software architecture and development.
Azure & SaaS know-how: Several years of experience in cloud-based SaaS development, ideally with Microsoft Azure (Functions, Event Grid, Cosmos DB, Service Bus).
Languages & Frameworks: Strong knowledge of C#/.NET Core and experience with serverless architectures and microservices.
DevOps & CI/CD: Knowledge of infrastructure as code, deployment automation and observability (application insights, logging, monitoring).
Testing & Quality: Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, load) and performance optimization.
Communication & Leadership: Fluency in English (German a plus), structured and methodical work style and ability to explain complex topics clearly.
Mindset: Passion for quality, ownership and helping to shape and develop a product.
