About the role
As an Analytics Engineer in the Data team, you will own and refine data solutions that help multiple teams make data‑driven decisions. Your mission is to collaborate with colleagues, bridge business needs with technical implementation, and deliver high‑quality, analytics‑ready datasets.
What challenges you'll be solving
* Work with business people to understand their workflows and requirements.
* Investigate data origins, evaluate operational logic, and propose improved solutions.
* Clean, transform, test, and deploy datasets in the data modelling layer so they are ready for analytics.
* Collaborate with Data Engineers, other Analytics Engineers, and business stakeholders to define requirements, success metrics, and design data models.
* Extract insights and actionable recommendations to help business units make better decisions.
* Build real‑time analytics, alert dashboards, and storytelling with data.
* Contribute to the development of the Data Visualization Platform.
* Communicate solutions and present them to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

What you’ll need
* Strong SQL knowledge and experience in writing complex, optimised queries.
* Experience in data modelling, using dbt or similar, and familiarity with dimensional schema modelling.
* Proven use of data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, Metabase, or equivalent.
* Proficiency with Git and solid development best practices.
* Experience with Python, Pandas, or libraries for data visualisation.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Fluent in English, facilitating effective verbal and written communication.
