Overview
We are looking to hire a professional to join the SEO department of our agency in Madrid. The role requires experience in the industry and a desire to take on new challenges in digital marketing, specifically in search engine optimization (SEO). The candidate should be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate international‑level SEO projects with various teams and areas.
Responsibilities
- Manage large national and international SEO accounts.
- Plan, execute, and analyze large‑scale SEO projects for major international brands.
Education and Experience
Work Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of proven professional experience.
- Experience in client management: planning, direct communication, presentation preparation, daily client interactions, strategy development, and market/competitor research.
- Demonstrable SEO knowledge gained in a digital marketing agency, including development, implementation, and monitoring of SEO actions.
- Proven on‑page SEO skills: optimizing landing pages (titles, meta data, H1, internal linking, etc.).
- Experience managing combined SEO/SEM projects within One Search optimisation strategies.
- Experience with international SEO.
- Skill in measuring and reporting SEO campaign performance.
- Local SEO experience with Google My Business.
- Knowledge of off‑site SEO techniques such as link building, outreach & engagement, and PR actions.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of industry metrics, best practices and latest SEO trends.
- More than 2 years of experience as an SEO Specialist.
- Strong command of local SEO strategies.
- Knowledge of Drupal and experience with other CMS platforms such as WordPress, Magento or Shopify preferred.
- Analytical, quantitative, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple clients or digital projects concurrently.
- Proficiency with tools such as SEMrush, Sistrix, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Google Analytics (GA4 preferred), Google Search Console, and Looker Studio.
- Experience with GEO optimisation and brand presence in large language models.
- Autonomous, versatile, resourceful and able to adapt to continuous market and environmental changes.
- Experience in e‑commerce optimisation.
- Strong organisational skills.
Other Requirements
- Proven experience with Google Analytics (GA4 is a plus).
- Proficiency with Google Search Console.
- Experience with Linkdex or other SEO suites.
- Experience with Screaming Frog and other market crawlers.
- Experience with Moz tools and keyword research tools.
- Experience with SEMrush, Ahrefs, Sistrix or similar tools.
