Brief Call : Our process typically begins with a brief virtual / phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team : your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris : our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study : Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job Description
Take your career to the next level with Amaris Consulting as a Senior Java Developer. Join an international team, thrive in a global group with a turnover of €800M and over 1,000 clients worldwide, and enjoy an agile environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java development, microservices, and Spring Boot.
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in Java development, demonstrating a solid understanding of its capabilities and best practices.
* Extensive experience with microservices architecture and Spring Boot framework.
* Proven experience with RESTful APIs and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
* Strong commitment to innovation and a desire to learn and grow within the role.
* High proficiency in English (Spanish is not required).
* Familiarity with CI / CD practices, particularly with tools like Jenkins and Bitbucket.
* Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
* Willingness to work from the office in Barcelona.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
* Serve as the lead expert in Java development, driving the implementation of new functionalities and identifying improvements in our current applications.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose issues and propose enhancements related to software development workflows.
* Develop and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot for backend services.
* Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment are followed.
* Stay updated on industry trends and continuously seek opportunities for innovation and learning.
