Required Qualifications
\n
- Degree in Industrial Engineering required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial process engineering, pilot plant operations, or scale-up of R&D; processes
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in bio-based process scale-up
- Proven experience working at the interface of R&D; and industrial production
- Strong practical understanding of process engineering, process optimization, and industrial deployment
- Experience in enzymatic processes, bioprocesses, or industrial biotechnology strongly preferred, and highly valued for success in this role
Core Technical Competencies\n
- Process scale-up from lab to pilot to industrial scale
- Pilot plant design, operation, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Process optimization with a focus on yield, efficiency, robustness, and cost
- Process modeling, including mass and energy balances
- Data analysis, KPI monitoring, and process performance tracking
- Implementation of process control strategies and continuous improvement actions
- Familiarity with industrial equipment, including reactors, separation units, and downstream processing systems
- Collaboration with analytical teams for process validation and monitoring
- Preparation of technical documentation for process transfer and industrial deployment
