The growth and demand for health monitoring has and will continue to grow exponentially. ADI is well positioned to leverage its core sensor and signal processing technology to take advantage of this growth. We are looking for an energetic signal processing/ ML Engineer who can couple the advanced technologies being developed at ADI to the physiological challenges being presented by the market to develop systems for bio/medical applications.
The candidate:
1. Will develop and test digital signal processing techniques and algorithms (both classical and Machine learning-based) with applications specific to medical devices including, but not limited to vital signs monitoring (VSM) consists of optical sensing systems (PPG), IMUs, biopotential (ECG, EMG, EEG), and bioimpedance (EDA, thoracic impedance, ICG, etc.), and thermal sensors.
2. Should be able to test, validate and design and enhance the algorithms and signal processing methods involved in biomedical applications.
3. Experience with exploratory and statistical data analysis (such as linear models, multivariate analysis, predictive modeling and stochastic models).
4. Should understand interactions between human physiology and both electrical and mechanical engineering as well as the different mechanisms involved in these interactions.
5. Will interface with design, test, application, software and marketing teams as the product(s) move from design to completion and distribution.
6. Will support customers with the customer’s platform and resolve algorithm-specific issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
7. MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field
8. Strong Python, and Matlab programming skills, familiar with C/C++
9. Experience working with large data sets for algorithm development and testing
10. Familiar with embedded platforms & embedded software development paradigms
11. Hands on experience on algorithm development and machine learning, deep neural networks
12. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
13. Experience with defect tracking tools (Jira, SVN, etc.)
14. Strong communication skills as they will be developing requirements and design documents
