Summary
The Production Engineer Manager is part of the local plant management team. His department supports the production and maintenance colleagues to find solutions to problems that arise and to improve the current production and side processes.
A daily focus is set on the energy consumption of the plant and the follow up of possible deviations.
The Production Engineer Manager will largely focus on the long term (CAPEX) projects and investments. These strategic investments are always chosen and coordinated with the HQ Engineering team.
The Production Engineer Manager is responsible for the requirements and follow up of the ISO 50001 (Energy Management System) in the plant procedures.
The Production Engineer Manager coordinates the plant data collection and audit for the plant CO2 Emission process.
His department is responsible for a part of the ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System), to monitor the process parameter to be aligned with the requirement of TA Luft (exhaust emission of different sources).
Key Accountabilities
Actively participate in local plant meetings to ensure a stable production process.
Provide support to various departments as needed.
Monitor process stability and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistent operations.
Analyze structural issues and translate findings into improvements in methods, procedures, and machinery.
Propose solutions to optimize production processes.
Support the launch of new industrial products, implementation of new tools and equipment, and enhance industrial practices and processes (including needs definition, process mapping, and flow optimization).
Conduct or commission studies to verify the technical and economic feasibility of projects.
Prepare final reports in collaboration with industrial and general management.
Develop technical documentation for other departments (quality, purchasing, methods, maintenance) to finalize projects, including material references, process parameters, and product lifespan.
Skills and Experience
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a similar field.
Technician training with extensive professional experience.
Proficiency in English is required.
Successful implementation of new methodologies.
Proven record of completing projects under continuous improvement principles.
Experience in ISO audits.
Experience in GHG (Greenhouse Gas) audits.
Experience in glass wool manufacturing processes is highly valued.
