Applications are invited for the appointment as Programme Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the School of Future Media (Ref.: 533860) to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Duties
* Manage the daily programme operation such as timetabling, course enrolment and student affairs;
* Planning, organising and executing admission and enrichment activities, such as admission interviews, HKU Information Day, programme outreach, workshops, fieldtrips and overseas exchange seminar, etc;
* Liaising with departments within the University and external organisations;
* Collaborating with the School’s communication team in marketing and promotion; and
* Performing any duties as assigned by the School Director
The appointee may be required to work overtime as and when necessary.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of administrative experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector.
* Fluency in English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is required.
* Good written and oral communication skills, strong organisational abilities, the ability to work independently and under pressure, and proficiency in IT (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
* Self-motivated, and able to effectively interact with people from diverse cultures.
* Experience in academic programme administration or student advising is a definite advantage.
* Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
Salary and Benefits
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
