What We’re Looking For :
* A culinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluency in English and Spanish.
* Legal right to work in Europe, including visas or permits.
* Proven track record as a Sous Chef in luxury hotel or fine dining environment.
* Experience in pre-opening or setting up kitchen operations is advantageous.
* Strong organizational and leadership skills to inspire the team.
* Experience in Forbes or LQA-rated properties is a plus.
* Extensive knowledge of international cuisine, culinary techniques, and food trends.
* Understanding of HACCP, health and safety, and hygiene standards.
* Exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills.
* Ability to manage inventory, control costs, and execute food orders efficiently.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Chef De Cuisine to create innovative menus with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, from food prep to plating, ensuring quality and presentation.
* Lead, train, and mentor the kitchen team, fostering continuous learning and growth.
* Innovate menu development with new dishes, techniques, and presentations.
* Prioritize guest satisfaction, addressing special requests and dietary needs.
* Coordinate with front-of-house staff for seamless dining experiences.
* Manage inventory, control costs, and minimize waste.
* Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Support administrative tasks, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
* Identify areas for operational improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and quality.
* Maintain effective communication within the team and with other departments.
* Work with servers and team members to ensure top-quality presentation of dishes.
