Copywriter (web marketing) (barcelona)

We are looking for a talented Copywriter (Web Marketing) to support website content creation and optimization initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing compelling, user-focused, and SEO-friendly web copy in English that enhances the customer journey and drives engagement and conversion.

Key Responsibilities

- Support website content creation and update processes by writing, editing, and optimizing web copy in English
- Develop engaging and persuasive content aligned with brand guidelines, editorial standards, tone of voice, and project-specific requirements, including character limits
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify unique value propositions and translate them into clear, compelling, and benefit-driven messaging
- Continuously review and improve website content to ensure consistency with user journey objectives, conversion goals, and SEO best practices
- Support the resolution of content-related issues and copy error inquiries
- Optimize content following UX Writing and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) best practices
- Contribute to the creation of seamless digital experiences through effective content design and information architecture

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Copywriter, Content Writer, Web Copywriter, or similar rol.
- Excellent written communication skills in English (native or near-native proficiency).
- Strong understanding of web marketing, digital communication, and conversion-focused copywriting.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
- Experience adapting content to different audiences, channels, and brand voices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Nice to Have

- Knowledge of web user journey design and customer experience principles.
- Experience with UX Writing methodologies.
- Familiarity with GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) best practices.
- Understanding of website structure, content strategy, and information architecture.
- Experience working within international or multilingual digital environmets.
