About the Finance & Strategy Function
The Finance & Strategy (F&S) function ensures the production and publication of accounting and financial management statements necessary for the Group’s management, financial and tax optimisation, and external growth strategy. F&S has over 1,800 employees and is organized around three regional platforms (America, Europe, Asia/Pacific), a Shared Finance Service center in India, Central F&S teams in Paris, and decentralized Finance, Tax and Development departments across BNPP country presences.
Infinity EMEA Finance & Strategy Platform
The Infinity EMEA Finance & Strategy Platform is the regional mutualised platform located in Madrid and Lisbon, delivering services that cover the whole financial dimension: accounting production, reporting, control, transformation projects, IT, and GDO. It serves EMEA countries, CFOs, Group Head Office and worldwide entities.
Position Purpose
* Ensure the data quality of reporting toward the Group’s Consolidated Financial Statements.
* Act as a financial controller analyzing and monitoring information declared by BNP sites/regions.
* Support reporting sites/regions for closings, implement and monitor transversal controls, investigate complex transactions.
* Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on a specified reporting topic (e.g., IFRS 9, IFRS 12, consolidation perimeter, KPIs, intercompany).
Responsibilities
* Support entities/regions in preparation of quarterly closings, advising on presentation/accounting treatments and reporting norms.
* Analyze events impacting the consolidated financial statements, identify adjustments, and synthesize key events for the Team Leader.
* Act as a Subject Matter Expert: develop transversal reporting topics, coordinate with Group Finance, harmonise internal processes.
* Collect and analyze financial and regulatory statements during closings, perform analytical reviews, liaise with sites/regions and regulators.
* Implement controls and actions to achieve task objectives; update reporting sites/regions on instructions and results.
* Perform manual accounting entries for consolidated adjustments to correct gaps or errors impacting the statements.
* Produce key performance indicators, summarise performance, manage action plans for open issues.
* Participate in transformation initiatives, contribute to change management, support continuous improvement.
* Provide support to sites/platforms for development needs due to evolving standards and regulations.

Specific Qualifications
* In‑depth knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, banking regulation, group instructions and accounting rules.
* Strong knowledge of IFRS 9 classification, measurement and impairment of financial products.
* Understanding of transactions from a finance/accounting perspective.
* High proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF).
* Ability to learn new systems or processes quickly.
Training and Occupational Experience
* Master’s in Finance / Audit / Accounting from a business school or equivalent.
* Minimum 15 years of experience, with significant exposure in banking, audit, internal control, financial reporting or analysis.
* Advanced level in English; French a plus.
