What you do.
* Technical leadership of frontend projects and responsibility for architecture, quality and scalability
* Mentoring and code reviews for frontend developers, fostering best practices and knowledge sharing within the team
* Development of modern websites and web applications with a strong focus on usability, performance and accessibility
* Implementation of responsive interfaces based on Astro, React or Vue and the respective Metaframeworks
* Design and further development of scalable component architectures and clean code standards
* Close collaboration with UX, backend and project management to translate requirements into sustainable technical solutions
* Integration of both headless and traditional (headful) CMS solutions (e.g. Storyblok, Contenful, FirstSpirit, Sitecore)
* Active contribution to technical decisions, tooling and frontend strategy
What you bring along.
* 5+ years of experience in frontend development, including 2+ years experience in leading a team of developers
* Very strong leadership skills to drive technology decisions and move a developer team forward
* Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
* High sense of ownership, quality awareness and structured, solution‑oriented thinking
* Strong skills in TypeScript and at least one of the frameworks Astro, React or Vue
* Knowledge of modern build tools and CI/CD pipelines (Vite, Webpack, GitHub Actions, etc.)
* Experience in frontend performance optimization and monitoring (Core Web Vitals, profiling)
* Deep understanding of UX principles, responsive design and accessibility standards
* Experience with frontend testing strategies and quality assurance
* Very good written and spoken German or English skills
