A day (or week) might look like this…
Sales and customer interaction (50%)
1. Deliver exceptional hospitality - explain to guests how to operate rental equipment, safety practices, and guest responsibility for the equipment during the rental; including length of rental and return options.
2. Schedule and carry out bikes for rentals and Self-Guided tour customers, including sizing, set-up and mechanical adjustment of bikes and accessories.
Communication and organization (30%)
3. Manage daily rental schedule with Rent a Bike Now system.
4. Respond to bike hire enquiries via email, phone and in-person, including advising potential customers on the suitability and availability of bikes and routes.
Maintain bike fleet and equipment (10%)
5. Assist the Mechanic with management, maintenance, and repair of the bike fleet.
6. Ensure all rental equipment is clean, serviced, and tested according to industry standards.
Retail associate (10%)
7. Educate customers about add-on accessories and additional equipment.
8. Work with internal and external departments to ensure one seamless guest experience.
