The Databricks Stack: 3–5+ years of deep expertise in Databricks, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog
Core Languages: Expert-level Python/PySpark and Advanced SQL.
Modelling Mastery: Proven experience in designing medallion architectures lake house schemas and familiarity with dimensional data models.
DataOps: Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform or Databricks Asset Bundles).
Integrations: Hands‐on experience with batch and real‐time streaming.
Expertise in designing, setting up and administering platforms with any of the hyperscale's, Azure preferred.
Familiarity with network and security topics (firewalls, VPNs, private links, etc.)
Technical Roadmap: Ability to translate business requirements into technical specs and long‐term platform roadmaps.
Collaboration: Proven track record of working as the "bridge" between Data Engineers, Analysts, and C‐suite stakeholders.
Best Practices: Passion for mentoring teams on clean code, performance tuning, and scalable architecture.
