We are currently supporting a specialty pharmaceutical company based in Barcelona in their search for a Project Manager R&D;.
Role Mission
To lead the end-to-end development of food supplements and cosmetic products, from concept to market launch, ensuring scientific robustness, regulatory feasibility, manufacturing viability, and strong commercial differentiation.
Reporting Line
This position reports directly to CEO.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead new product development (NPD) projects for food supplements and cosmetic products from ideation to commercialization.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with CMOs, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
- Propose innovative, market-driven formulations that are feasible from a manufacturing and regulatory perspective.
- Select ingredients supported by approved claims, regulatory compliance, and/or published clinical evidence.
- Prepare and manage technical product documentation, including formulations, specifications, and dossiers.
- Develop scientific and clinical support materials for Medical Affairs and Commercial teams.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Medical, and Commercial teams.
- Monitor market trends, innovation, and competitive landscape in nutraceuticals and cosmetics.
- Ensure timelines, budgets, and project milestones are met.
