Accounting & Administration Manager - Job Description

Saesco Group, one of the European leaders in the Medical Devices Distribution Industry is currently looking for an Accounting & Administration Manager for its Head Quarters.

The Group is focused on the distribution of value-added medical devices across Europe with special focus on the general surgery/bariatric, gynecology, urology and cardiac fields.

With commercial presence in more than 10 countries, SAESCO GROUP will reach approximately 70MM€ revenues in 2025; and it is currently in a build-up process, acquiring synergic entities across Europe to consolidate the leadership in the Medical Device Distribution Industry. The strategic plan presents a growth to 300MM€ in the coming 5 years.

Recently, Saesco had incorporated Miura Partners as shareholders with the aim to consolidate and accelerate the project.

The position: Accounting and Administration Group Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious and hands-on Accounting & Administration Manager, who feels motivated in a demanding and fast pace changing environment, to coordinate our administration teams, professionalize and standardize the current accounting and administration processes; and improve our accuracy in the financial information and reporting.

This position will have a critical role in the Group, being responsible of the Accounting and Administrations processes at Group level: currently with a total of 10 subsidiaries in 7 countries (Spain, Portugal, Belgium, The Netherlands, Poland, Italy and Germany); but with the plan to continue growing across Europe.

Main tasks will consist in implementing an accounting calendar, standardizing accounting policies, supervising the Administration Teams and implementing potential IT tools across the Group.

The Accounting & Administration Manager will sit in the Head Quarters Offices in Barcelona and will report directly to the CFO of the Group.

The responsibilities will include:

(i)Administration/Accounting/Tax

·Review of the Monthly closing

·Standardization of Accounting policies

·Implementation of payment policies and other Standard Procedures

·Supervision of Invoicing

·Supervision of Tax submission by the external tax advisors

·Submission of Financial Statements in due time

·Supervision of the payments preparation

·Coordination of audits

·HR: payroll process and documentation

·Cashflow Management

(ii)Others

·Deployment of IT environment

This role is ideal for an organized person with experience in back-office departments who thrives in a dynamic and rapidly growing projects.

·Have 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in Accounting and Administration

·Experience in Big4 is a plus

·Have relevant experience dealing with different jurisdictions and teams

·Have strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel) and feel comfortable with implementation of new IT environments

·Detail oriented and still able to keep an overview

·Feels comfortable with the execution of different projects at the same time

·Team player who is also perfectly able to work independently

·Have excellent planning skills and can deal with time limits

·Have good communication skills (Fluent English)
