Overview Provider Relations Analyst native British at The Cigna Group. Your job As a Provider Relations Specialist you will be part of the Provider Services Organization, responsible for managing the relationship with health care providers in Europe, especially in the United Kingdom network. You will work closely with peers and stakeholders positioned across the globe. Key to the role is end-to-end journey management, partnering with health provider accounts (hospitals and clinics), supporting onboarding, daily/monthly interactions with Cigna, educating providers to navigate the Cigna operating model, monitoring performance, and driving engagement initiatives.
Your Functions Enable effective and efficient collaboration with health providers to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
Ensure smooth onboarding and day-to-day operational maintenance of provider relationships.
Educate existing and newly contracted health care professionals on member identification and eligibility, claims submission, Cigna operating model, training on legacy portal, and onboarding into the new provider portal.
Manage ongoing relationships and daily operations with providers, including follow-up, negotiation, and resolution of complaints, escalations, suspensions or threats.
Monitor and analyze Operations KPIs and reconciliation results to support providers and advise on follow-up actions.
Pursue continuous service improvement through root-cause analyses and initiatives driven by data and feedback.
Maintain proactive communication and regular meetings with dedicated providers.
Provide consolidated feedback to PSO management.
Maintain provider communications channels considering local practices and cultures.
Proactively educate providers on working with Cigna and roll out of new processes.
Conduct provider visits as applicable.
Your profile Internal: 1 year of Cigna experience or relevant experience in other functions/companies with a strong performance track record.
External: at least 2 years in Operations, Data Analysis, Marketing/Communications or Relationship Management with operational and customer/provider-facing experience.
Native British and proficient in Spanish; additional languages (e.g., French, German) are a plus.
Preferred location: Madrid (Spain); other locations in Spain could be considered.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
International mindset with ability to work remotely with colleagues, partners and providers globally.
Excellent service orientation for members, clients and providers; strong can-do attitude and relationship management skills in a multicultural context.
Action-oriented problem-solving; excellent organization, planning and prioritization to meet deadlines.
Experience in complaint management with a track record of improving customer service standards.
Ability to research and analyze issues, gather relevant data and provide constructive feedback.
Accountability and ownership for personal results and contributing to team goals.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present effectively.
Ability to work independently and with colleagues at all levels.
Experience interpreting data and drafting reports.
Strong MS Office skills, including Excel.
Availability to travel approximately 10% of time.

Option to work from home 4 days per week and 1 day from Madrid office.
