**Hiring Requirements**:- Extensive working wine knowledge (non-negotiable)- WSET Level 2, ISG, CMS or SWE certification (one or more required)- Minimum 2 years’ experience of hotel, resort and/or restaurant beverage service operation is required (four stars and above preferred) or one year experience of cruise ship beverage operations- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills- Excellent computer software skills (Word; Excel; Outlook etc.)- Ability to speak and write English fluently- Proficiency in at least one of the following languages would be an advantage - Spanish, French, Italian or German- Ability to interact with others in a culturally diverse and dynamic environment- Extensive knowledge of varying wine and beverage brands, trends and quality- Knowledge of new and old-world wines, including food and wine pairing, with the capability to conduct wine tasting sessions for large groups- The ability to train other members of the Food & Beverage Team on making wine recommendations and on correct service standards**Contract**:- 6/2 rotations (6 months onboard, followed by 2 months of vacation)- Shared cabin (with private bathroom facilities)**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract, PermanentContract length: 6 months**Experience**:- hotel/restaurant beverage service: 2 years (required)License/Certification:- WSET Level 2 or similar (required)Work Location: In person
