**Role Purpose**The Unit has four main objectives: a) to provide service to the Sant Joan de Déu research community by offering the methodological and statistical advice necessary during the preparation of a project to improve its quality; b) to support in the development and management of databases; c) to perform statistical analyses of projects and support in the publication of results; and d) to train researchers through workshops.**Primary Responsibilities**- Support and methodological/statistical advice during the preparation phase of projects/proposals:- Review of project methodology: study design, variable definition, database design.- Sample size calculation and justification.- Review or drafting of methodology and statistical analysis sections.- Statistical support and advice during the development phase of projects:- Conducting statistical analyses for research projects.- Assistance in interpreting resulting reports.- Resolution of inquiries (e.G., scale validation).- Database creation.- Advice and support on aspects related to the creation of databases for research projects.- Support in database creation with REDCap.- Administration of REDCap servers.- Support in the publication of datasets (e.G., anonymization).- Institutional training.
