Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Odoo Developer to join our remote team. This is a strategic role for someone excited about being part of a growing company and contributing to building a high-quality, specialized product.
In this role, you will be primarily responsible for customizing and developing Odoo modules to align with Hakika’s proprietary finance and private equity workflows. You’ll also work closely with onboarding and supporting clients, understanding their specific requirements and customizing our platform to meet their specific needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and optimize scalable Odoo-based system architectures.
* Contribute to long-term technical planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
2. Custom Development
* Customize and develop Odoo modules to support evolving fund structures and workflows.
3. Client-Facing Implementation and Support
* Collaborate with onboarding teams and directly with clients to understand bespoke requirements.
* Tailor system functionality to meet specific operational and reporting workflows.
* Provide ongoing technical support, bug fixes, and performance enhancements.
4. Systems Integration
* Integrate Odoo with third-party platforms (e.g., APIs, Streamlit) as part of a unified data ecosystem.
5. Code Quality
* Ensure clean, efficient, and well-documented code aligned with best practices.
6. Training
* Assist in training clients and preparing training material.
Requirements
* 5+ years of full-stack development experience, with at least 3+ years working specifically with Odoo (familiarity with v18 is a plus).
* Deep knowledge of Odoo architecture, ORM, workflows, and customization.
* Strong experience with :
* PostgreSQL (data modeling, performance tuning)
* Proficiency with Git, Docker, and CI / CD workflows.
* Experience with integrating third-party APIs and systems.
* Experience with finance, accounting, or private equity concepts is a strong plus.
* Must be able to work remotely in a fast-paced, remote startup environment.
