Join Our Team as an On-Tour Community Manager & Merchandiser
Lancelot Productions, an internationally recognized production company known for its live orchestral performances of iconic film soundtracks, is looking for a Community Manager & Merchandiser to join our European on-tour team.
This role combines live event management with content production to enhance audience engagement and grow our international film music community.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage inventory, sales, and financial reporting for merchandise at each venue
* Maintain a clean, visually appealing, and well-stocked merchandise booth
* Provide friendly, professional customer service and handle transactions (cash, card, electronic)
* Coordinate logistics, shipping, and secure storage of merchandise
* Work with venue staff to optimize booth placement and comply with local sales procedures
* Track daily sales, analyze trends, and report revenue accurately
Community Engagement
* Engage audiences before, during, and after shows to grow social media followers and fan community
* Capture short-form content: interviews, behind-the-scenes clips, audience reactions, and performances
* Collaborate with orchestra members, artists, and special guests for authentic content creation
* Propose creative methods to convert attendees into long-term community members
* Support marketing and tour managers with operational and engagement initiatives
* Submit daily reports summarizing sales, audience interactions, content captured, and community metrics
Requirements
* Proven understanding of social media platforms and content formats
* Experience creating content for live events, concerts, or similar dynamic environments
* Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, touring environment
* Multiple positions available — candidates fluent in English, French, and/or German are a strong advantage
