Currently, we are looking to hire a Supply Chain / Procurement Manager based in Madrid, with more than 6 years of consulting experience in projects related to Supply Chain & Operations or Procurement, both nationally and internationally.
As a Manager in Supply Chain & Operations, you will:
* Manage and motivate a team of cross-functional experts at various levels.
* Demonstrate in-depth technical expertise and professional knowledge in procurement. Additional expertise in areas like planning, logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing will be a plus.
* Quickly learn new processes and identify new offerings to assist current clients.
* Apply tactical and process-oriented problem-solving skills.
* Develop and present innovative ideas and approaches.
* Build relationships with client personnel and deliver high-quality services, helping clients identify additional opportunities and supporting business development.
* Understand EY’s service lines and assess how the firm can best serve clients.
* Contribute to the broader Business Consulting community and participate in people and operational initiatives.
* Participate in recruiting, retaining, and training new team members.
* Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to junior staff.
* Maintain a continuous learning and development program.
* Act as a role model for EY values, integrity, and professional ethics.
To qualify, you should have:
* A minimum of 6 years of consulting experience, particularly in procurement projects. Experience in other functional areas like planning, logistics, or manufacturing is a plus.
* A third-level qualification, preferably in procurement and supply chain.
* Knowledge of procurement operating model transformation, including spend analysis, organization, processes, systems, governance, and KPIs.
* Expertise in end-to-end procurement processes such as spend analytics, process redesign, Source to Contract, Procure to Pay.
* Experience in strategic procurement, category management, sourcing strategies, tendering, supplier research, outreach, evaluation, and selection processes.
* Experience in identifying savings opportunities and implementing cost reduction programs.
* Experience in contract review and supplier relationship management.
* Ability to develop tender documents aligned with procurement directives.
* Familiarity with procurement systems and digital tools evaluation.
* Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices.
* An entrepreneurial mindset, design thinking, and a passion for improvement.
* Commercial acumen and enthusiasm for learning in a fast-paced environment.
* Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
