PURPOSE OF CONTRACT: The purpose of this contract is:

a) Collaborate with all the tasks and reports assigned to the UDC within the framework of the TRIGGER project and specifically contribute to developing reports and research activities related to the social field and "citizen/stakeholders engagement" in Collaboration with the project coordinator.

b) Conduct field research and develop the scientific part of periodic reports in collaboration with the Scientific Coordinator and other specific task and work package leaders within the project.

c) Contribute to the tasks and reports of other research projects linked to TRIGGER in which the Research Group is involved with the synergies generated with other projects. d) Assist the principal investigator in all scientific coordination tasks, including communication with the Consortium. Collaborator on activities related to the project/agreement stated.

TASKS TO PERFORM

The contract is necessary to carry out the tasks that, within the TRIGGER Consortium, the UDC must carry out to comply with the obligations established in the description of the research action ("Action Description") and the agreed and approved formulation of the project. by the European Commission.

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the research tasks of the University of A Coruña, associated with the TRIGGER project, are carried out and delivered satisfactorily. To this end, it will work in collaboration with the Consortium partners, leaders of the Work Packages, in the research tasks and reports associated with them, and will contribute to the development of the Work Package reports, with special emphasis on the tasks for which the University of A Coruña is responsible, as well as other tasks in which it participates in other projects developed and related in the same group.

The selected candidate will carry out the following tasks, among others:

a) critical reviews of the literature on the sociodemographic and sociopsychological impacts of climate change on health, especially in the most vulnerable areas.

b) consultations with organizations involved in the project;

c) preparation of periodic and final reports;

d) intermediate reports and preparation of manuscripts for publication and dissemination of results; e) workshops and co-creation of public policy scenarios;

f) carry out studies of surveys, interviews and discussion groups. All this in collaboration with the PI and Coordinator of the project and the other leaders of Work Packages or Tasks.

The selected candidate will also contribute to the writing of other reports and tasks of other research activities or projects with which the Research Group collaborates, linked to TRIGGER. Finally, she will support the Scientific Coordinator in scientific coordination tasks, including communication with the Consortium. The selected researcher will join a highly dynamic, interdisciplinary and international work environment in which they will have the opportunity to contribute to the most cutting-edge European research in the field of assessing the social impact of climate change on health in Europe.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND % OF DEDICATION

1 Realization and delivery of the research work of the TRIGGER Project, on solutions to mitigate climate-induced threats to health. in collaboration with the main investigator, preparing the mandatory results (milestones and deliverable intermediate reports) in line with the research protocol. This will include carrying out critical reviews of the literature on the central theoretical-practical theme of the project, preparation of methodological guides for data collection, data analysis and writing of intermediate reports, preparation of interviews and questionnaires, etc. [50%]

2 Collaboration with the principal investigator in the organization of the work in the work packages and/or tasks in which the UDC is the leader, communication with other institutions and organizations involved in the Work Packages in which we participate as collaborators, the organization and celebration of meetings when necessary for the development of the work and ensure coordination with other parts of the work developed in the rest of the project. 3 Collaborate with project tasks regarding periodic and final reports, and with the preparation of reports for the other work packages in which the UDC collaborates in specific activities. [10%]

4 Writing and preparation of research papers for publication and/or contribution to their dissemination at national and international conferences and congresses that result in successful research results. [10%].

5 Contribution to other activities of the research group, including the identification of new sources of financing in actions related to the theme of the project. [10%]

Skills/Qualifications

Candidates must have obtained a PhD in some area of the Social Sciences, preferably with a specialization in the field of Psychology and Geography and Demography, with previous experience in European Framework Program projects, from a social perspective, as well as specifically in participatory processes. in the field of sustainability, as well as research experience in socio-environmental and/or sociodemographic issues. Your knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methodologies to be carried out with survey studies, interviews and focus groups will also be valued. The candidate must be fluent in English, read, spoken and written, and unless English is their mother tongue, prove their knowledge, since English will be the working language throughout the duration of the contract.

A) TRAINING (Up to 3 points)

- Doctorate Desired criteria: Doctorate in a relevant field of study: Social Psychology, Geography and Demography (up to 3 points); Bachelor's degree in other social sciences (up to 1 point).

B) COMPETENCES, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE (Up to 17 points)

- R+D+i projects.

- Experience of collaboration in projects Competences, skills, experience Competitive R&D; R&D; projects of the European Framework Programs in the field of the Environment (up to 17 points) The Environment from the perspective of Social Sciences, u other international or national organizations with international financing. Up to 2 points will be awarded per project, if it is related to social aspects, up to a maximum of 4 points.

- Specialization.

- Training in environmental intervention and management (up to 3 points), demonstrable through postgraduate degrees: Master's or equivalent to a master's degree in other educational systems. The areas of Social Sciences will also be taken into account (up to 1 point). - Knowledge of European climate change and health policies.

- European Union on Climate Change and Health within the European Union. Postgraduate degrees in European subjects or courses of a minimum of 50 hours will be evaluated. Each course or postgraduate degree will be evaluated with 1 point (up to 2 points)

- Methodological and data analysis skills.

- Good command of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and data analysis. Expert management in the use of multivariate analysis techniques, such as "R" or "SPSS" or another similar one. 2 points for demonstrating an average knowledge of "R" or "SPSS", 4 points for an Advanced knowledge of "R" or "SPSS". Other packages of less analytical coverage: 1 point; (until a máximum of 5 points).

- Mastery of English: Excellent oral and written command of English, level B2. Unless it is the candidate's mother tongue, it must be accredited with Language Competence Certificates from the Official School of Languages or similar, or with stays of at least 3 months in foreign universities. (2 points)

- Experience in organizing participatory processes Participation in the organization of participatory workshops and international conferences. Each congress in which the candidate has participated with a paper will be valued with 1 point, and 1 point for collaboration in organization of the event (up to 4 points).

PUBLICATIONS (up to 5 points)

- Research articles and published books. Publication of research articles in international impact journals, specialized in Environment, Society and Sustainability issues, or books or book chapters in relevant publishers on the subject of the project. Up to 1 point each article published in a journal indexed in SCOPUS / Web of Science, in journals classified as Q1 or Q2; and up to 0,5 points per article published in journals indexed in Dialnet, CIRC, ERIH+, etc. Books and book chapters will be pointed up to 1 point if authorship is from the candidate, and 0,5 per chapter when the book is classified in SPI (up to 5 points).

Among all the applications submitted, the Selection Committee, in case of a tie between scores among candidates, will invite tied candidates to a personal interview, either in person or via videoconference, which will be conducted at least partially in English (Up to 5 points).

Therefore, the maximum score that candidates can obtain will be 30 points
